National Day of Action against Contracta Force (C-Force) labour broker!

Today is a day of action against the C-Force labour broker in Western Cape and Gauteng!

The reason for protesting against C-Force is because the C-Force labour broker is colluding with the ruthless global pallet maker, CHEP.

CHEP at Jet Park in Gauteng forces workers to remain in the employ of C-Force by falsely saying that C-Force is a “service provider”, and not a labour broker. Yet C-Force's own website clearly states that it is a temporary employment provider, in other words - a labour broker!

Workers have been on strike against CHEP Jet Park for 3 months now.

The company refuses to make workers permanent even if they've been working there for 18 years, instead claiming that these workers are employees of C-Force. They also refuse to grant a R2500 per month across the board wage increase to workers earning as little as R9000 per month, even though they are owned by a rich Australian multinational company (Brambles) and have more than enough money to do so!
